How TryMosaic Works
TryMosaic manages reasonable adjustments as a seven-stage lifecycle: from the moment an employee identifies a barrier through to HR oversight and organisational audit.
Most adjustment processes have a gap. There is a policy and sometimes an outcome, but the steps in between are handled inconsistently across emails, conversations and ad hoc decisions. TryMosaic gives every role a structured workflow to follow.
The seven-stage adjustment lifecycle
1. Identify a need
An employee describes the barrier, workplace need or situation they are experiencing. TryMosaic provides a structured starting point across physical environment, working patterns, communication, technology and more. Employees describe what is difficult, which makes it easier to have the right conversation.
2. Request support
The employee records proposed reasonable adjustments or support. Guided templates help them describe what would help, without requiring legal language or a formal diagnosis. The request is routed to a named owner with a tracked status, so nothing sits unread in an inbox.
3. Discuss
The manager can review the request, ask questions within the platform and explore possible alternatives before recording a decision. The discussion is kept in one place rather than fragmented across email threads, and the context is available if it needs to be reviewed later.
4. Decide
The manager records an outcome: accepting the adjustment, suggesting an alternative, or declining where the specific request is not practicable. The rationale is recorded alongside the decision. TryMosaic does not determine whether a decision is legally correct. It records the decision and the reasoning behind it.
5. Implement
Agreed actions, responsibilities and next steps can be recorded and tracked. This is where many informal adjustment processes break down: an agreement exists in principle but no one owns the follow-through. TryMosaic turns the decision into a set of tracked actions.
6. Review
Adjustments can be revisited to establish whether they remain appropriate and effective. Circumstances change: a condition may evolve, a role may change, an adjustment that worked well in one context may not work in another. Scheduled reviews keep the record current and prompt reassessment before a problem arises.
7. Maintain organisational oversight
Authorised HR staff can maintain appropriate oversight, records and auditability across the organisation. Aggregated, anonymised analytics show adjustment rates, common barriers and denial reasons, helping teams identify patterns and inform policy. The audit trail is timestamped and complete.
Built for the teams responsible
Employees get a structured way to ask for support. Managers get a clear response process. HR and People teams get appropriate oversight and records. Occupational health recommendations can move into tracked actions rather than remaining in a disconnected report.
Built for enterprise. Designed for real people.
Standardised processes
Pre-built templates and workflows give each request a consistent path.
Security and data protection
TryMosaic's privacy notice describes UK data storage at rest, two-factor authentication, OTP-secured sharing and role-based access control.
Analytics and audit trail
Aggregated, anonymised reporting supports organisational insight while the workflow keeps a timestamped record of requests, decisions and actions.
Getting started
Many organisations can go live within days, depending on scope, data and configuration requirements. Setup, invitations and onboarding are planned around the organisation's needs.
Support that makes change stick
Optional onboarding and consultancy can cover disability and neurodivergence training, reasonable adjustments training, process mapping, manager training, Workplace Needs Assessment alignment, rollout and early data review.
